Many bands will relate to this - the rise of Myspace has caused the traditional band web site to fall by the wayside as the people and the convenience suck us in. It's a real shame.
We've played a number of good concerts lately, and have more coming up. We anticipate the official release of There's Many A Slip Twixt the Cup & the Lip in the next couple months. Then it'll be time to work on the Long Player.
A couple weeks ago the Dallas Observer said some nice things about us. That made us feel welcome.
Come see us soon.
With affection & respect,
Comrade

Well gang, our mini-album is fit to be mastered and ready to romp by the end of the week. That means that we'll be having a week long listening party on myspace real soon as a little howdy before the cd is made. We'll say just when that'll be in a few days, then we'll find a way to release the cd. Haw.
Let me be the first to congratulate ourselves, though - it's real good.
Also, if you live in Arkansas, we'll see you soon. We aim to set up some more quality time with Texas in not a long time. Texas means Comrade.
Yep,
Comrade

My goodness, dears, we've sure got some goods in the works. Recording is being kicked off. You may hear a little ditty if you wish on either Purevolume or Myspace.
We've lost and gained, I suppose you could say. We've got a new lineup of folks. Once you see us in concert in the near future you'll see some real handsome things.
July 9, 2004
Oh, hi. New music is coming out, and we hope to have it ready for when we resume performing in August. You're all very cute. Bye now.

Welp. One month has passed. We take a small break as some of us move, finish school, or whatever. New songs being worked out so that we can plop something new and saucy out on the table as we rear up on our hind legs for the summer. Stay tuned.

Hello. Time to announce our very first Dallas County mini-tour! That is to say, we're playing two shows in two nights in close proximity to each other. We'll start on Friday April 2nd at the Door in Dallas, then finish up at the Icehouse in Rockwall the following day. But never you worry - in spite of our rigorous touring schedule we'll be certain to conserve enough energy to provide a rowdy time every time. For more detes see out "Performances" section. Oh yes, we may have some new films to accompany. Ciao now.

Bronaugh to all. Tomorrow we set out for Arkansas to play with our dear sweets, The Lonely Hearts (once known as Holland) and The Connotations (currently known as our friends to the max). Anyone who can make it to the Little Rock area is highly encouraged to do so as we will be providing a little rock of our own. Check out the Performances page for more detes. Ciao for now, loves.

Sorry folks, we've got limited bandwidth and once it fills up they just turn us off. The little boogers. So anyway, hence it is that the site was down yesterday. We're real proud that so many people are interested in downloading our songs, though, so thanks for that.
Thanks to all who came out on Friday. We were thrilled that so many good folks dropped by to swap howdy's. More later. Caio

Hello all. Just wanted to spread the invite to come on down to The Garage in Plano this Friday for our little performance. We'll be headlining, so that's fun, and this will be the first time we'll be using our film accompaniment in a local show, so that's be even more fun. There are more details in the Performances section. Oh, but we'll go on at ten-ish, and the cover is $5.00. Hope to see you there.

Welp, our very first pseudo-tour went off with a bang, I guess. We played music and had a pizza party with none other than the pizza gang. Keep in touch for more updates including a show or so in the next couple weeks and a March trompe off to Arkansas. Caio now.

Hey there, all you babes and hotts. Thanks to all who came to the show last Saturday. We, Comrade, were well pleased with the results - an occurance as rare as, uh, something not very common. So anyway, soon we'll have pictures from the show as well (hopefully) as some suitable sounds clips. No promises on the audio yet until we've fully determined that it's not too embarrassing for public display.
We're currently trying to fill up a good portion of January and February with performances all over the vast Texas soil. We'll let you know what we come up with. Caio for now.

Hi there ma'ams and sirs. Hopefully we've all had a fine prelude to Christmas and are dealing well with the afflictions typical of ending a semester. Well, I'm here to announce to you that the end o' semester partay goes down this Saturday eve (12/13/03) at The Door where we, Comrade, will play as accompaniment to The Chemistry Set and other bands that we have not heard, yet seem promising enough. We'll start things off eightish of the pm. For more info try the links in the 'Performances' section of this here web site. We all hope to see you there in time for the dancing.

Hello all. All's well? Good. We, the people of Comrade are currently trudging through the preliminary steps of becoming an organized and effective art creating unit. That is to say: We're trying to get good. Other aspects of this, however, include getting things together for our meager demonstrative cd, and, of course, this new web site, through which we will be enabled to formally communicate to you, and soon in return, you to us. We hope this merger will be the beginning of a lasting and fruitful relationship for us all. Until next time, good day.
